In 2023, the Rochester Running Club is adding a non-binary gender category to the membership registration form. Runners who identify as non-binary will also be eligible for Grand Prix prizes with the addition of a non-binary division. All RRC-sponsored races will have a non-binary category (with the exception of the All-Comers’ Meets). The RRC Diversity and Inclusion committee is working with race directors of non-RRC Grand Prix races as well to foster this change throughout our Grand Prix race series. The RRC is committed to making all runners feel welcomed, seen, and that they belong.
RRC’s membership applications and renewal forms are updated to reflect the additional gender category.
