Lance Pfrimmer Memorial 8K & 1M

Please join the Pfrimmer Family and the Rochester and Stout Running Communities in the first annual Lance Pfrimmer Memorial Run and Walk on Saturday, August 10th.

All proceeds from this event will go to the Lance Pfrimmer Memorial Scholarship, supporting students who ran track and field and/or cross country in high school with a preference to students who are still running while pursuing a post-secondary degree.

This event and scholarship were created in loving memory of Lance Pfrimmer, who we lost far too soon. His friends & family created this event to honor his memory and continue his legacy of sportsmanship, positivity, and athleticism.

The event on August 10th will start and end at the Eagle’s Club (917 15th Ave SE, Rochester, MN 55904) and consists of two distances: an 8K Run and a 1 Mile Walk.

Our 8K route will feature a loop on the Mayo High School track, where Lance spent many of his days. Both routes pass by the location of his memorial bench.

Participants will enjoy post-run refreshments as well as the option to purchase food and beverages from the Eagle’s Club. There will also be a silent auction.

Tentative Schedule of Events (subject to change as details are confirmed):

• Friday, August 9th:

  • Packet Pick up at TerraLoco 4-7PM
  • Warm-Up Run & Get Together at TerraLoco (time TBD)

• Saturday, August 10th:

  • 8:30 AM – 9:45 AM Packet Pick up and Same Day Registration
  • 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM Silent Auction
  • 10:00 AM Race Start
